The Dutch edition of VOGUE, published by G+J Media Nederland, was honoured as "Magazine of the Year" at the prize ceremony of the Mercur Awards.

At the prize ceremony of the Mercur Awards last Thursday, the Dutch edition of VOGUE, published by G+J Media Nederland, was honoured as "Magazine of the Year". In the full DeLaMar-Theatre in Amsterdam, the team around editor-in-chief Karin Swerink celebrated the "Oscar of the Dutch Magazines".

The jury statement was full of praise about the Dutch VOGUE-edition, which has established itself as an authority in the field of high-end-fashion and beauty in the last five years. "The original award of the industry goes to 'The Queen of the Magazines'. With Karin Swerink, who has been heading VOGUE for five years now with great love and passion and beautiful portfolio with spectacular collectors’ items, launches such as VOGUE MAN, VOGUE LIVING and VOGUE THE BOOK and spectacular events. Ultra-sleek and and commercial success. The editorial team surpasses itself every time. Really very distinctive."

Within five years, VOGUE Netherlands has managed to become a visible presence in fashion, beauty, art, culture and literature and is helping to establish Dutch fashion worldwide. Meanwhile the "leading lady" of the fashion magazines has a stable circulation of 66.000 in the Netherlands as well as 1.8 million page views on VOGUE.nl.
