G+J i|MS joins its partners for Cannes 2022

A week full of exciting questions around innovation, partnerships, creativity and responsibility. Together with its partners from the RTL Group, G+J i|MS welcomed business associates to the Cannes Lions Festival.

Industry leaders from around the globe gathered at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity to discuss the future of the advertising and adtech industry and celebrate creative excellence. It was a great pleasure to meet our media partners from The Guardian, NZZ, Insider, Samsung TV and many more at the RTL Beach.

Together with RTL AdConnectSmartclip, YospaceTechAlliance, and Amobee, we had invited business partners to come to the RTL Beach where we had the pleasure of unveiling the name of a new international advertising champion — RTL AdAlliance.  The new name was introduced by Stéphane Coruble, CEO of RTL AdConnect, Dr. Oliver Vesper, Co-CEO of smartclip, and Stefanie Meierfrankenfeld, Deputy Executive Director of G+J i|MS.

In the future, G+J i|MS will be merged with RTL AdConnect and the media sales division of Smartclip to form RTL AdAlliance, the new Total Media powerhouse for international advertising and technology sales.

Celebrations for the new partnership continued into the evening with a lavish party including more than 800 guests.
