Starting in January 2018, the G+J i|MS Sales Office Germany will take over marketing in Germany for the print and digital offers of the Austrian daily newspaper DER STANDARD. G+J i|MS thus continues to further expand its cross-media presence in European quality media and strengthen its position in the DACH Region.
Since the start of 2018 G+J i|MS is responsible for marketing the print and digital portfolios of the Austrian daily newspaper DER STANDARD in the German market. The international marketing unit of G+J in Germany – the G+J i|MS Sales Office Germany – therefore simultaneously expands its portfolio in the strategically important DACH Region, where it already markets the media of the Austrian Verlagsgruppe News as well as the Swiss NZZ Media Group.
Headquartered in Vienna, DER STANDARD numbers among the leading Austrian daily newspapers. Its paid daily circulation of 61,000 copies and 54,000 subscriptions (ÖAK, Jan.-June 2017) reach a readership with above-average educations and higher incomes and with a disproportionately high presence of decision makers. Over three fourths are exclusive readers who read no other daily newspaper. Moreover, the magazines belonging to the STANDARD, such as RONDO, offer additional, high-class advertising surroundings with special formats for reaching lifestyle-affine target groups. With 2.1 million unique users and a visit length of over seven minutes per visit (ÖWA Plus 2017-II), the digital offer of derStandard.at is the absolute number one among Austria’s print media in the Internet – and is simultaneously the online platform with the most digital deciders.
