June 11th saw GLAMOUR Netherlands in the grip of keeping fit: For the second time, the fashion magazine, published by G+J Media Netherlands, proclaimed its big Health-Challenge and thousands of readers took part.
The exhibition and convention center RAI Amsterdam turned into a big fitness Mecca. 2,000 readers worked out under the guidance of Mary Helen Bowers, the founder of the "Ballet Beautiful" workout, and the Dutch model Maud Welzen. Mary Helen Bowers, who also ist the fitness coach of dozens of Victoria's Secret models, was especially flown in from the United States to hold her first boot camp on Dutch soil.
Further offers in the kick-off event for this year’s GLAMOUR Health Challenge were mini-boot camps held by fitness bloggers and Nike Master trainers, a "Health Market" offering healthy snacks and fitness equipment, beauty stands, a workout with the Dutch fitness blogger Fajah Laurens, a fashion store by the main sponsor Zalando and a dance fashion show.
GLAMOUR editor-in-chief Sanne Groot Koerkamp was thrilled about the reception: "It was a pleasure to see so many enthusiastic women doing sports together. What energy and what fun! "
The event rang in the GLAMOUR Health Challenge month: The readers of the largest fashion magazine in the Netherlands are invited to to eat healthy and take more exercise for 30 days. Groot Koerkamp: "The GLAMOUR Health Challenge is significantly larger than last year.
