New contents, new categories, new focuses – the French Magazine FEMME ACTUELLE undergoes a complete makeover. Younger looking, up-to-date topics and even more professional expertise are the aims of the relaunched magazine and its internet website.
FEMME ACTUELLE is the best known French Women magazine. After 33 years of existence, the publisher Prisma Media decided to give the magazine a facelift for staying up-to-date, modern and ambitious. A new layout, more graphic and modern elements should satisfy the wishes and expectations of nearly 4 million readers per week.
Julien Lamur, the editor in chief underlines that healthy food and lifestyle are no longer sufficient for the magazine. To stay credible, FEMME ACTUELLE needs concrete recommendations from nutritionists, homeopaths and therapists. Especially trendy are also categories like “flavours” and “gentle medicine” with advices inspired by foreign cultures. Furthermore, designing one’s own home with DIY projects is in great demand. As a reaction, FEMME AVUELLE increased the number of interior and deco pages.
But not only the magazine got a rebrush. Prisma Media redesigned also the internet appearance. Due to a new header the users can now easily access the editorial contents and services like influencer, product testings and videos. Additionally, FEMME ACTUELLE got a new video studio for beauty, fashion and lifestyle film shootings.
On top of all that FEMME ACTUELLE was honoured with the price for the Best Digital Diversification of the French magazines of the year 2018 by the SEPM (Editors Union of the Magazine Press)
