As from now, GALA Digital Germany, the leading people- and style portal, is presenting itself technically overhauled and with a high quality visually strong look. The new design, mirrored on all digital channels, presents GALA's strengths – high quality, exclusive images and star news – in an especially creative manner and is inspired by Pinterest.
Cropped image cants, mouse-overs and zoom effects create liveliness and interaction that stands for being part of and involved in the world of the stars. Specifically designed icons and navigation elements complement the new design and offer fast orientation to the user.
The editorial team reports from the world of stars around the clock and is supported by a new, fast Content Management System. This enables even more topical news which will reach the user in future via attention-grabbing newsflashes directly from the editorial system. For the first time, the editorial team also reports live from events using a blog tool and takes the users onto the red carpet with Facebook Live formats and the consistent use of all social media channels. All news can be found chronologically on a newly designed "Aktuell" (Latest) -page.
Up to date, GALA Digital already has the highest reach in the competitive environment in the fashion and beauty field. This is further strengthened for the relaunch by two new editorial columns: "Fashion Friday" and "Call of Beauty". Here print and digital editors write about current trends, looks and must-haves. All thematic specials and galleries in fashion and beauty are optimized and expanded in course of the relaunch. The video offer is strongly extended editorially and given high visibility on all channels. The videos are integrated more deeply on the homepage, in articles and picture galleries and receive their own video labels; in addition, own video galleries were developed.

With 26.4 million visits in December 2016 (65% growth versus 12/2015), GALA Digital - as in all previous months - achieved significant growth compared to the previous year and is one of the leading portals in the news and style sector.
